We manufacture custom-designed speakers. Each pair is designed according to the customer's individual requirements: From the choice of the driver through the finish (raw wood, veneer, lacquer or oil) to the use of original elements.
We do it because we love it.
ABOUT DESIGN
HORN DESIGN
These are single-way speakers with a wide-band driver whose bass frequencies are amplified in the sound tube, the horn. The advantages of such a design are mainly in the precise, even holographic rendering of the space of the recording with a very detailed presentation of all sounds. The design does not contain any electronic components, except for a driver with a strong magnet. As a result, there is no phase shift and the signal is not affected in any way.
High-quality horn speakers tend to be large enough to catch the eye at the first glance, but the important things happen during the first listening occasion. Music just emerges from the space. You can't determine the direction of the sound source, the speakers seem to disappear, but the music appears and you can easily find the location of each instrument. You can pull it out and just listen to it. After a while, you leave it and pick another one. Then you come back to the whole thing. You can play with your listening, you become an active participant and forget that you ever consumed music passively. Any imperfections in the original recording cease to feel like mistakes and become the record of a unique event, in the midst of which you find yourself, thanks to accurate reproduction. You will be surprised by what you can hear in old familiar recordings, and you listen to them with genuine curiosity and often sheer amazement.
This listening experience is so specific that it has moved us to build horn speakers of our own. It became clear to us that we had to approach it in a very specific way, as we are not building a mere loudspeaker, but a musical instrument in its own right.
The idea behind founding Madam Air Le Rook has been making horn speakers at the cutting-edge level with all that comes along with it: the sound, the design, the materials used, as well as the craftsmanship. .

We have created such horn speakers with the help and assistance of many friends in the music industry, and hundreds of hours spent building in a workshop and testing in studios. The cabinet is layered with the highest quality birch plywood, carved with high precision on a CNC saw, the sides are made of three-centimetres thick beech plywood. The special shape of the sound tube (internal bracing and precise undulation or bevelling of the horn) ensures sufficient rigidity of the whole structure.
The speaker is 140 centimetres high and weighs 100 kilograms. The finish can be either veneer with polished lacquer/oil or piano lacquer of a colour of your own choice. The drivers are from the German company Voxativ, one of the world's top manufacturers.
We called the speakers Deamon.

OPEN BAFFLE DESIGN
This is a single-way speaker with a wideband driver in an open baffle, whose bass frequencies are amplified by another large woofer. The advantages of such a design are mainly in the accurate, almost holographic rendering of the recording space with a very detailed presentation of all sounds. Before the broadband driver, there are no electronic components in the signal path from the amplifier. As a result, no phase shift occurs and the signal is not affected in any way. The woofer only plays frequencies up to 150 Hz, which is handled by a low pass filter. This arrangement requires an additional amplifier.
The advantage of an open soundboard consists mainly in the fact that the diaphragm vibrates into thin air, does not overcome vacuum or overpressure in the limited position and can thus render even the finest details with great ease.
Because it is essentially a single-way design, such speakers have advantages and characteristics similar to horn construction. Music also seems to emerge from somewhere in the space in front of you, and again you can easily enter the recording.
We have manufactured open baffle speakers and fitted them with drivers from the Japanese company Fostex, woofers are from the American company Eminence.
The speakers are 120 centimetres high and weigh 40 kilograms. The finish can be either veneer with polished lacquer/oil or piano lacquer of a colour of your own choice.
We called the speakers Odyssey.
